Over the long Easter weekend, I visited LakeToba with my boss and her husband.LakeToba is high in the SumatranMountains and the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia.With beautiful scenery, cool temperatures, waterfalls, cheap guesthouses, and motorbikes for rent, plenty of fun was had.
I live in Ronceverte, WV where I am the pastor of two United Methodist Churches. I noticed your graduation notice today in the "Mountain Messenger" and your work with UMCOR. Congratulations.
My congregations have given a good deal of money to the Tsunami relief efforts. I'm wondering if you could send us a note describing your work through UMCOR? I believe personal stories help folks understand what their giving accomplishes.
Summer is getting off to a warm start here in the Greenbrier Valley. It's already been in the 90's a few days. Today would be a great day to float the river.
